WHAT DO WE DO WHEN WE AREN'T SEEING PATIENTS?

Dr. McElroy was honored and given recognition by Central DuPage Hospital for being on staff for 15 years!
On February 18, 2010 our CPR instructor will be here for our annual training and certification. Health care providers are required to be CPR certified every 2 years, however, it's our choice to exceed this requirement and certify yearly.
FEBRUARY IS CHILDREN'S DENTAL HEALTH MONTH!
Dr. McElroy and Dr. Campbell will be visiting preschools and park districts to talk about the importance of children's dental health. We will be reaching out to almost 900 students with a very motivating and exciting program! We hand out goody bags containing an age appropriate toothbrush, stickers, magnet and an informational sheet for parents explaining what their children learned. We are always happy to serve our community and meet the students and teachers.
We will also be visiting the Bloomingdale Public Library during their 7:00pm story time on February 9th, 2010. Our program will include an informational presentation to parents present. If you are interested in attending with your preschooler, call the library at 630-529-3120.
On March 12th, Denise and Kathy participated in a Health Fair at Monroe Middle School in Wheaton. We talked to over 700 students promoting mouthguard use during sports to avoid mouth injuries and also made students aware of sugar content in sport drinks. Thank you to Mr. Preston Boyd, P.E. teacher and team leader at Monroe, for organizing this great and successful event. We were happy to be part of it!
