Dr. McElroy was invited to participate in the Bloomingdale Goddard Preschool "Community Helper" week!
Healthy snacks, brushing skills and a visit with Maggie the Dragon were some of the highlights of his visit! Excellent student participation and good manners, we love going to the Goddard School!
CONTINUING DENTAL EDUCATION
Dr. McElroy and Dr. Campbell recently attended a workshop "Advocacy and Individualized Treatment Planning for Patients with Challenging Conditions".
The seminar focused on the treatment of special needs patients with an emphasis on patients exhibiting Down Syndrome. We see many patients with Down Syndrome in our practice and there was a good discussion amoung the participants, mostly being pediatric dentists and orthodontic specialists.
The program also dealth with advocacy issues related to patients with special needs with representatives from Shriners Hospital and Clearbrook.
Over the course of their professional careers, Drs. McElroy and Campbell have typically exceeded the required number of continuing dental education hours mandated by the State of Illinois Department of Professinal Regulation.
